Gold Coast Equestrian Centre (GCEC) has proudly operated for over 15 years.

​

Founded in 2010 by the Urbain family, GCEC has grown into a professional, welcoming riding school, developing riders of all ages and experience levels.

​

Having Australian and French backgrounds, owners Daniele Nixon Urbain & husband Pascal have owned and operated riding schools and saddleries internationally for many years prior to relocating to Australia.

Our Mission

We’re passionate about providing high-quality education, support, and

training to our community of riders.  Whether your goals are recreational or competitive,

our team is here to help you develop your skills at your pace,

in your own way.  We welcome anyone who loves and respects horses.

Many of the horses and ponies in our program have been bred, raised, and trained onsite, carefully selected for their bloodlines, temperament, and conformation. This hands-on approach ensures a safe, positive riding experience for every rider.

​

Our team of internationally trained coaches is committed to delivering high-level instruction in a professional and approachable manner. Lessons focus on correct technique, rider safety, and most importantly, enjoyment, while always prioritising the welfare of our horses and ponies.

Well connected to riding schools internationally, the onsite boutique at GCEC imports riding gear from overseas to provide the highest quality products for riders.  We appreciate support from members when they choose to purchase with us.

GCEC has proudly welcomed visiting riders and international groups from countries including China, Japan, France, Korea, and more. Whether you’re new to riding, returning as an adult, or just visiting for a one-off trail ride, GCEC offers something for everyone.

With a running stream and acres of green paddocks for our horses to enjoy, the GCEC property offers a peaceful escape from the everyday. From the moment you arrive, we hope the serenity of the surroundings helps you feel grounded, present, and ready for new adventures.
