EQUESTRIAN OPERATIONS, SALE & CUSTOMER RELATIONS PROFESSIONAL (HIGHLY EXPERIENCED IN MANAGEMENT, SALE & COACHING) : 

​

An exciting opportunity is available to join one of the Gold Coast’s busiest riding schools and equestrian centres.

 

We are seeking a highly motivated equine professional with extensive experience in management, sales, customer service and riding school operations to join our team in a long-term live-in position.

 

This is a diverse and rewarding role involving the coordination of daily operations, customer relations, horse welfare oversight, retail sales, staff support and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • * Assisting with the management of daily equestrian centre operations

  • * Managing customer enquiries, bookings and member relationships

  • * Driving sales within our equestrian retail boutique

  • * Providing professional advice on horse riding equipment and rider safety gear

  • * Overseeing horse welfare and presentation standards

  • * Coordinating horse allocations and lesson requirements

  • * Supporting and mentoring coaches, staff and volunteers

  • * Maintaining high standards of safety, organisation and professionalism

  • * Contributing to business development and member retention

  • * Assisting with horse training and coaching when required

  •  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • * Extensive experience within riding schools and equestrian centres

  • * Proven management and organisational skills

  • * Strong customer service and sales abilities

  • * Experience selling horse riding equipment and safety gear

  • * Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • * Fluent spoken and written English is essential

  • * Strong horse handling skills and a solid riding background

  • * Previous or current experience in both dressage and jumping

  • * The knowledge and ability to mentor and support riding coaches, helping maintain high coaching standards across the centre * Recognised coaching qualifications and/or extensive coaching experience

  • * A professional, proactive and customer-focused attitude

  • * Confidence working independently and making decisions

Opportunities for Couples - We have recently opened an additional Farm & Property Maintenance position within our business. This creates a unique opportunity for a couple wishing to relocate and work together in a beautiful equestrian environment. Applications from couples are welcome, with one partner filling the equestrian operations role and the other the maintenance position.

For the right candidate, sponsorship may be considered in the future. Applicants seeking sponsorship must hold recognised coaching qualifications and possess significant riding school and coaching experience.

 

Training and mentoring will be provided by the owner to ensure a successful transition into the role.

FULL-TIME LIVE-IN MAINTENANCE POSITION AVAILABLE

*Starting 15 August

 

We are looking for a motivated, fit and active maintenance person to join our team on a full-time basis.

 

This is a long-term position, and applicants must be available for a minimum commitment of 6 months.

 

Duties include:

• Mowing and whipper snipping

• Fence repairs and general property maintenance

• Water pump maintenance and repairs

• Weed control and pasture management

• Clearing invasive weed trees and vegetation

• General farm upkeep

 

This role is physically demanding and suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes initiative, and takes pride in maintaining a beautiful rural property.

 

Experience in all areas is not essential. Training and guidance can be provided by the property owner for the right person who is willing to learn and has a strong work ethic.

 

A love of horses is a bonus — we have 35 horses on the property!

 

Working Holiday Visa applicants are welcome.

 

Full-time live-in position. Award wages apply. On-site accommodation available, with rent payable by the employee.
