TRAIL RIDES
Our trail rides are safe, relaxing and suitable for all ages and abilities. Whether you are visiting the Gold Coast or have lived here all your life, a gentle trail ride through our stunning hinterland property is the perfect way to reconnect with nature and enjoy the company of our majestic horses.
All trail rides on our stunning property include:

Professional guides who are trained riding instructors

60 minutes of time in the saddle including a 15 minute riding lesson prior to setting off

A meandering trail ride along a boundary of our 52 acre property

Photo opportunities to capture your adventure and remember forever

You will take a behind the scenes tour of our property as you ride along the creek's edge.
When conditions are right, your guide may even invite you and your horse enjoy a splash in the sparkling waters of the Coomera River*, which winds through the property.

If the weather is bad, don't despair, we can still accommodate your group. You will enjoy a professionally run horse riding lesson in our fully covered equestrian arena. Either way, you are getting unique, value for money experience.​
*Entry into the water is by approval of the trail ride guide only and is not guaranteed.
Rider confidence, ability, air/water temperature and weather conditions will be taken into consideration before you are invited to enter the water.
*A minimum of 2 riders is required to book a trail ride.
*Maximum rider weight is 90 kg.
WHAT TO WEAR WHEN YOU VISIT GCEC?
It is a very good idea to wear long pants and boots, if you have them, every time you are onsite at GCEC. Even if you are not riding closed in shoes are a great idea. If you don't have boots, sneakers or other similar closed shoes will suffice. Helmets will be provided by the school if you are riding.

Plan to arrive 15 mins earlier than your scheduled appointment or lesson.
Please note that bookings are non-refundable, no cancellations due to bad weather as we have an undercover arena.

Your inquiries are important to us. As our site team and coaches are typically hard at work during business hours and cell phones are not permitted in the equestrian areas of the centre we can't always take your call. To ensure your inquiry doesn't get missed, we prefer you contact us by text message or email rather than phone call as we aren't always able to receive voice calls. Better still, use our online booking service to secure your spot.
To avoid disappointment, please make an appointment with our team before visiting us on site. Our horses, riders and their safety are our priority and movement around our site is limited to members. All guests must be escorted for their own safety.
