Holiday Camps

During QLD school holidays we run camps at GCEC for children 5 y.o* up to 17yo.

( *Please enquire for very young riders if we have groups their age )

Our member riders have priority in booking and will be able to secure their spots before camp registration is opened to non members.

Bookings are essential.

Camp dates for 2022 - 2023 are:

20 - 22nd December 2022

11 - 13th January 2023

18 - 20th January 2023

Camps are usually 2 and a half days.

Camp participants will enjoy the whole horse experience during camp - everything from taking care of your horse, how to properly tack your horse and all the security and safety associated with being with these magnificent animals !

Campers will also learn theory about horses that they will remember forever !

And of course there is riding ( twice a day ), and pony games and, weather permitting a swim in the river with their favourite pony! If they are ready, riders can work towards advancing their Canter level !

Please consider buying your riding gear with us, our dedicated and experienced coaches will be happy to fit it all safely to you !

Unfortunately, we see too many helmets that are not fitted correctly and therefore unsafe.

We reserve the right not to accept riders with an unfitted helmet.

For your safety, back protectors are compulsory for our junior riders and all riders jumping at GCEC.

We will also happily guide you to the best technical choice.

It is all about safety and if you find the same option cheaper elsewhere, we will match that price.

Member riders do have to purchase our uniform: GCEC polo, breeches ( riding pants ), black boots and half chaps, gloves, helmet and body protector.

We try to source the best products at the best prices.

Members riders can borrow helmet and back protector ( we only have a few junior sizes ) for their 1st term of riding.
