During QLD school holidays we run camps at GCEC for children aged 9yo up to 17yo. 

( *Please enquire for very young riders if we have groups their age )

Our member riders have priority in booking and will be able to secure their spots before camp registration is opened to non-members.

Bookings are essential.

Camp participants will enjoy the whole horse experience during camp - everything from taking care of your horse, how to properly tack your horse and all the security and safety associated with being with these magnificent animals.

Campers will also learn theory about horses that they will remember forever!

And of course there is riding (twice a day), and pony games and, weather permitting a swim in the river with their favorite pony! If they are ready, riders can work towards advancing their Canter level!

Beginners Camp :

 The camp will run on 23rd of December and 20th January 11:30am - 5:30pm (1-day camps)

For beginner riders ages 9yo to 16yo. For the purpose of following a specific learn to ride program, we only offer this program during holiday camps. The camp offers lots of riding but also horsemanship (learning how to tack safely, approach a horse, catch, groom, tack...)

Camp is available to be booked online for $290 (a day) under the BOOK NOW section for the dates above.

Intermediate Camp :

This camp will run on the 13th, 14th and 15th of January 11:30am - 5:30pm (3-day camp)

For Intermediate riders ages 11yo to 17yo and your child must be learning to canter or cantering already. For the purpose of following a specific learn to ride program, we only offer this program during holiday camps. The camp offers lots of riding but also horsemanship (learning how to tack safely, approach a horse, catch, groom, tack...)

Camp is available to be booked online for $700 (for the 3 days) under the BOOK NOW section for the dates above.
