Danièle Nixon Urbain
Founders & Directors
Daniele and Pascal have owned and operated professional riding schools for the past 20 years, both in France and Australia. They started operating Gold Coast Equestrian Centre in 2009. It then took them years to source, breed and train the best possible school horses and ponies we have now at GCEC. This is the key to the safest possible riding lessons. Daniele and Pascal are happily married, have 3 children, who have grown up in riding schools.
Both Pascal and Daniele have years of experience in coaching and riding but now focus on keeping both business and facilities to the best standards. Daniele works closely with her Team of coaches, passing on the experience she has gained over the years.
They have sought to create not only a world-class riding school at GCEC with facilities unlike any other in South East Queensland, but most importantly a school with strong safety procedures in place; very well-bred and trained horses / ponies and a qualified and experienced team.

WHAT TO WEAR WHEN YOU VISIT GCEC?
It is a very good idea to wear long pants and boots, if you have them, every time you are onsite at GCEC. Even if you are not riding closed in shoes are a great idea. If you don't have boots, sneakers or other similar closed shoes will suffice. Helmets will be provided by the school if you are riding.
Plan to arrive 15 mins earlier than your scheduled appointment or lesson.
Please note that bookings are non-refundable, no cancellations due to bad weather as we have an undercover arena.

Your inquiries are important to us. As our site team and coaches are typically hard at work during business hours and cell phones are not permitted in the equestrian areas of the centre we can't always take your call. To ensure your inquiry doesn't get missed, we prefer you contact us by text message or email rather than phone call as we aren't always able to receive voice calls.
