Holiday Camp Beginner riders 7 to 12 yo This camp will run : Wednesday 9th July : 2.00 to 5.00 PM Thursday 10th July : 9.00 AM to 3.00 PM Friday 11th July : 9.00 AM to 3.00 PM We will be going through all the basics in horsemanship and riding. How to approach a horse safely, how to interact with him, how to tie him up, take care of him, tack him, wash him, feed him and lots more. In riding, children will not be lead and will learn how to ride independently up to trotting by themselves. If unsure if your rider's abilities, please book a trial lesson if possible so we can assess level. We will be learning lots of things and doing plenty of acticities : how to trot independently, vaulting, trail rides to the river, games and time with your horsy friends.
